as of august 26 2025, swiss post will temporarily not be able to accept mail items destined for the United States. This decision is prompted by the entry into force of new US government customs regulations that affect postal companies worldwide
For this reason, Swiss Post is temporarily forced to no longer accept mail items destined for the United States. Swiis Post made this decision in close cooperation with the relevant national authorties including DETEC, OFCOM and the supervisory authority PostCom
